INTRODUCING:
NATURE SELECTION
This year MANTEL HOLLAND will introduce the new “Nature Line” designed by garden specialist Anna Bos. Previous products designed by Anna are doing extremely well in store, so we are pleased that she has added this whole new “nature line” to our product assortment.
With the new trendy “Nature Selection” line from designer and gardening enthusiast Anna Bos (57), Mantel Holland makes gardening easy. The six original and appealing collections of flower bulbs are ready-to-plant spring flowering combinations that each create a garden in itself.
“Except for planting, everything is done. The selections were made on the basis of flower, foliage and colour: well balanced, striking and
in perfect harmony,” according to designer Anna Bos.
Selecting the varieties, Anna paid particular attention to flowering times. “The combinations are geared to flower at the same time or in close succession. The different growing heights are also taken into account. Everything matches perfectly, one variety compliments the other.” According to the stylist who, in her five acre garden in Ireland has her own trial ground where she plants the various flower bulbs and gains her inspiration “Combinations should not be too stiff; a casual touch gives the garden a natural touch.” Most of the gardening shots on the new packaging come from her garden.
With her passion for gardening and nature, Anna Bos’s favourites are Alliums and Irises, which are featured in the collections. “But ferns and moss look beautiful in garden design and I plead for the resurgence of Dahlias. How beautiful there are! My garden in Ireland has huge borders of shocking purple and orange Dahlias. Colours and contrast are in fashion again!”
Nature to Anna stands for warmth, atmosphere and charisma. “The new combinations reflect all three elements. Plant them as a combination in a border or use them in pots and containers for the balcony. I created a clear and simple combination that compliments modern garden furniture, but there is something for everyone. From traditional to modern, from vivid to delicate, from tone on tone to spectacular colour combinations.”
